Not very far from Palolem beach in South Goa lies the Butterfly beach. This beach is popularly known as the honeymooners’ beach because of the stunning landscape and solitude it provides for couples to spend some quality time. The beach is in the form of a cove and is surrounded by dense trees.
To reach here, one has to board a ferry from the neighboring Palolem or Agonda beach. The beach attracts many butterflies because of the trees here and thus has a great vibe to it. In fact, if closely observed, the beach itself seems to be in the shape of a butterfly. All these aspects make Butterfly beach one of the best places to visit in Goa for couples.
